I bought Audiovox portable DVD player and paid $250.00 for it a couple years ago. The video portion just stopped playing. It was 13 months old (of course, 1 month after warranty expired) so I looked at a new one, same model was only $85 so I bought another since I already had the headphones, case, charger, etc.

Same exact thing happened on the second one - video just stopped working, sound only, in about the same time period.

Don't purchase this brand.

I understand it was out of warranty,but I told them what happened with buying TWO of their models and asked if they would give me a deal since I had two that needed repairs. NO! They said it was $79.95 a piece to repair them, no deals, no multiple repair discounts, no loyalty discount, no shipping discount...you get the idea. Not even a discount because they felt bad that the exact same flaw happened in BOTH devices.

Guess how much a brand new, different brand, larger portable DVD player is now? $80 including shipping. Think I had the others repaired or went and bought another brand with my $80?
